1. What this site is

We're a referral service that connects you with independent, IEMA-licensed radon professionals who serve the Springfield area. We don't perform radon testing or mitigation ourselves. Springfield IL Radon is not a radon contractor, tester or mitigator, isn't licensed by IEMA-OHS, and doesn't bid on, accept, manage or perform any radon work.

2. No contract with us for work

Any estimate, contract, price, warranty, permit and work are solely between you and the professional you choose. We're not a party to that agreement and aren't responsible for the professional's work, pricing, conduct or results.

3. Verify credentials

We ask participating professionals to show a current IEMA-OHS radon license, but licenses can lapse. Please verify it yourself on the IEMA-OHS licensee search before hiring.

4. Information only

Content on this site summarizes public EPA and IEMA-OHS guidance and Illinois statutes for general education. It's not medical, legal or engineering advice.

5. No guarantee of a match

We may not be able to connect every request. If we can't, we'll tell you and point you to the official licensee list.

6. Your submissions

You agree to give accurate information and to submit requests only for property you own, rent or are buying or selling, or with the owner's permission.

7. Fees

Using this site is free for homeowners. Participating professionals may pay us a flat advertising fee.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site is provided "as is," and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it or from any professional's services.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
